The Rotary Club of Gettysburg is looking to fund or sponsor projects between $500 and $2,500. A total of $11,000 will be awarded. Preference will be given to proposals that invite Rotarian participation and display Rotary’s involvement. Deadline for submissions is April 1, 2020.
 
Grants are made possible through the club’s annual lobster dinner. The Rotary Club of Gettysburg Lobster Dinner will be held Saturday, April 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Gettysburg Fire Hall, 35 North Stratton Street. The dinner includes a whole lobster, shrimp, corn on the cob, cole slaw, rolls, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage.
 
Tickets are available from any Rotarian, through www.gettysburgrotary.org, at the Gettysburg Times office.
 
The Rotary Club of Gettysburg has several meeting options: noon, Mondays at Gettysburg Hotel; 7 a.m., Tuesdays at Rosie’s Restaurant in New Oxford; and 4:30 p.m., the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at Battlefield Brew Works. Anyone is welcome to attend any meeting to find out more about service and networking opportunities. Information can also be obtained from any member or at www.gettysburgrotary.org. Club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. Rotarians are a connected group of professionals who share a drive to give back.
