It was a grand evening at Battlefield Brew Works and Spirits of Gettysburg Distillery Dec. 9 as more than 50 Rotarians and guests gathered for the club’s holiday party. This event brought together members who attend Monday lunch, Tuesday breakfast or Wednesday happy hour meetings throughout the year. Also in attendance was Assistant District Governor Kim Hackett. Fun was had by all, as depicted in the photos below. The majority of the evening focused on fellowship through conversation and games but since this gathering also served as our annual meeting, there was some business. President-elect Ken Farabaugh announced the 2020-21 slate of officers, which was unanimously approved. He thanked those who took time to share thoughts throughout the six-month process. Club members in attendance unanimously adopted the changes. The Club will meet 4:30 p.m., Dec. 11 at Battlefield Brew Works. Attorney John Wolfe will entertain us with magic. There will also be a noon meeting on Monday, Dec. 16 at The Gettysburg Hotel There will be no club meetings Dec. 23, 24, 25, 30 or 31. |
