The Rotary Club of Gettysburg is accepting applications for grants from its Community Fund.
Non-profit organizations that serve the Gettysburg area are eligible to apply.
Deadline for applications is April 22.
The Rotary Club of Gettysburg is looking to fund or sponsor projects between $500 and $2,500. A total of $11,000 will be awarded. Preference will be given to proposals that invite Rotarian participation and display Rotary’s involvement.
Grants are made possible through the club’s annual lobster dinner. The Rotary Club of Gettysburg Lobster Dinner will be held Saturday, May 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Gettysburg Fire Hall, 35 North Stratton Street. The dinner includes a whole lobster, shrimp, corn on the cob, cole slaw, rolls, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. Tickets are available from any Rotarian, through www.gettysburgrotary.org, at the Gettysburg Times office, or at Battlefield Brew Works.
The Rotary Club of Gettysburg meets Mondays at noon at Gettysburg Hotel and 4:30 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at Battlefield Brew Works. Club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. Rotarians are a connected group of professionals who share a drive to give back.
